ATTENDANCE

Student/Pupil is expected to resume the school on or before 7.30 A.M and participate in the morning assembly which runs till 8.00AM. Any Student/Pupil that gets to the school after 8.00 A.M. is regarded to have resumed late. Parents/Guardians are to ensure that their children are punctual to school throughout the term. We keep a daily record of attendance and include the percentage of attendance by every student in the Continuous Assessment Report at the end of each term. Students are expected to meet at least 95% of the expected attendance days and any attendance below this set threshold is regarded as a persistent lateness.

If by any reason student is to come late to school, it is very important for parent/Guardian to inform the class teacher or the head teacher as soon as possible. We may have to contact the Parents/Guardian if we noticed that a child whom we have not received any permission to stay late school was not found in class.

ILLNESS

If a child is ill, the parent/ guardian is expected to inform the class teacher or the head teacher so that we will be aware that the child is safe at home.

POLICY OF LEAVE OF ABSENCE DURING SCHOOL TIME

Parents are expected to apply formally to the Head Teacher for the student leave of absence. The reason for the leave and the requested days of absence should be stated in the application.
